The desk is amazing for the price. The only thing that was "quirky" was that the big desk plates didnt come with holes for the screws. You will definitely need an accu drill machine to screw them in (no drilling required). It took a couple of hours longer to assemble it than I thought, but other than that it was really what you expect. Get this one instead of the one without the small shelf as it can be really useful to put your cables on it if nothing else, and the price difference is not that harsh :) I use it with a 23 inch lcd monitor and 2 presonus eris 5 monitors and I'm planning to put a 27 inch monitor as there is plenty of room on it. The assembling is honestly not that hard, you need to at least be an Average Joe to do it :D Also, having an assembling buddy helps, but is not required. Hope I helped you make a decision!
