tried the Eris 8BT subwoofer before the TS107: the Eris was noisy and had a permanent broom like a transformer noise coming out of the speaker. also the Eris does not go below 45Hz (despite its specs saying it drops to 30Hz). Also it had a mushy / diffused and undefined bass. Also it makes the monitors pop each time it turns ON or OFF. i had to return the Eris because it was not worth it for me. In comparison, the Ts107 is dead silent and i can hear it drops down to 37Hz. I use it with a pair of studio monitors for playing electric guitar and bass. It has a much clearer and focused sound and overall a much articulated bass response. i am verry happy with the purchase.
