Moondrop Edge Grey On-ear draadloze koptelefoon

Wireless ANC Headphones with Hi-Fi Driver Technology

The Moondrop Edge is a portable wireless ANC headphone engineered for listeners who want full-size sound without the bulk of traditional studio cans. At its core sits a large 40mm low-distortion dynamic driver paired with a high-resolution beryllium-plated dome and flexible surround composite diaphragm — a combination that delivers controlled bass and articulate mids. Built around Bluetooth 5.4 with LDAC support, hybrid active noise cancellation, and a 48-hour battery, this model is a practical choice for daily commuting, focused work sessions, and long-haul travel.

What Sets the Moondrop Edge Apart

Most wireless ANC headphones in this tier rely on standard dynamic drivers, but the Edge pairs its 40mm driver with a beryllium-plated dome — a material choice more commonly found in dedicated hi-fi headphones — for stiffer pistonic motion and lower distortion. Four highly sensitive noise-canceling microphones feed the hybrid ANC system, while dual microphone beamforming ENC isolates the voice during calls. An aluminum-alloy rotating shaft and folding hinge let the cups collapse flat for storage in the included pouch.

Technical Specifications — Connectivity, Battery, and Build

The wireless platform runs on Bluetooth 5.4 with A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and HSP profiles, and supports SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs for high-resolution streaming from compatible Android devices. Battery life reaches 48 hours per charge, with USB-C fast charging delivering roughly 4 hours of playback from a 5-minute top-up — useful when a full charge isn't an option.

Who Should Choose the Moondrop Edge

This headphone is the right choice for commuters and remote workers who need reliable hybrid ANC, clear call quality via beamforming microphones, and multi-day battery life without daily charging. It suits Android users who want LDAC high-resolution streaming, since the codec must be enabled through the Moondrop Link companion app. Travelers will appreciate the folding aluminum-alloy hinge and included storage pouch, while home listeners get access to multiple tuning presets — Balance, Extra Bass, Country Style, Old Studio Style, and Violin Solo — through the same app for genre-specific adjustments.
