Meinl HCSD141620 HCS Dark Complete Bekkenset

Meinl HCS Dark Complete Cymbal Set — Dark, Controlled Brass Tone for the Kit

The Meinl HCS Dark Complete Cymbal Set is a 3-piece brass cymbal pack built around a moody, dark tonal character that diverges from conventional bright cymbals. Specially treated brass and a bold dark finish deliver a focused response with controlled overtones, ideal for drummers who want their cymbal work to sit deep in the mix. The configuration covers every essential voice: a pair of 356 mm hi-hats, a 406 mm crash, and a 508 mm ride. This pack suits players seeking dark-toned cymbals without stepping into pro-tier pricing.

What Sets the HCS Dark Apart

The defining trait is the specially treated brass paired with a dark finish, producing focused tone with reduced high-end glare. Pressure Point Technology hammering adds deliberate dimples across the bow, giving each cymbal extra musicality. A lathe-formed profile with wide blade lathing shapes the response so the cymbals open up smoothly when struck.
