Meinl HCS14DAH 14" HCS Dark Hi-Hat — Focused Tone for Developing Drummers

The Meinl HCS14DAH 14" HCS Dark Hi-Hat is built for drummers who want a darker, more controlled alternative to bright entry-level cymbals. Made in Germany from MS63 brass alloy with a specially treated dark finish, it produces a smooth sizzle when open and a tight, crisp chick when closed — the two sounds that drive most time-keeping patterns. Pressure Point Technology keeps the tone consistent across the cymbal surface, so every stroke sounds the way it should.

Why Choose This Hi-Hat

The medium weight balances light practice and full-volume playing, while the dark finish gives the kit a stage-ready look. It's a smart upgrade from stock cymbals or a strong starting point for a first complete setup, delivering the focused, moody character that helps developing players sound more confident behind the kit.
