Fender Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster — Iconic Strat Tone Within Reach

Fender Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster MN WPG Olympic White brings the double-cutaway design and three-single-coil voicing to players seeking authentic Strat character without the flagship price tag. The thin poplar body in Olympic White with a 3-ply white pickguard captures the visual and tonal DNA that has defined the instrument since the 1950s. This model is the right choice for players wanting the quintessential Strat feel in a package that outperforms its price class.

What Sets This Stratocaster Apart in Its Class

Two refinements elevate the instrument above typical entry-level electrics. The 2-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles reduces friction at the pivot points compared to the vintage six-screw design, keeping tuning more stable under whammy bar use. Sealed die-cast tuning machines with split shafts accept strings directly through the post.

Poplar Body Construction — Lightweight Comfort for Long Sessions

Body weight matters when a guitar spends hours against your ribs. The thin poplar body sits comfortably during long sessions, while the gloss polyurethane finish protects against everyday wear.

• The body is crafted from poplar, which acts as a balanced tonewood that lets the pickups define the character.
• Body Finish: Gloss Polyurethane — durable, reflective surface that resists minor scratches
• Body Shape: Stratocaster double-cutaway — upper horn provides easy access to upper frets

Maple Neck and Fingerboard — Fast, Familiar Feel

A bolt-on maple neck with a slim C-shaped profile suits players who favour quick position shifts. The maple fingerboard adds brightness and snap, while the satin urethane back finish lets the hand glide smoothly.

• Scale Length: 648 mm — standard Fender scale delivers familiar string tension and bright attack
• Fingerboard Radius: 241 mm — balanced curvature that suits both chord comfort and bending ease
• Frets: 21 medium-jumbo — enough height for clean vibrato without feeling oversized

SSS Pickup Configuration and Tremolo Hardware — Classic Strat Tonal Range

Three ceramic single-coil pickups wired through a 5-way blade selector cover the full Stratocaster tonal spectrum, from glassy bell-like chime in the neck position to twangy bite at the bridge. Two tone controls shape the neck and middle pickups while the master volume handles overall output.

• Pickups: SSS — three ceramic single-coils — voiced in-house at Fender for crisp, articulate tone across genres
• Controls: Master volume, tone 1 (neck/middle), tone 2 (bridge) — flexible shaping for clean and lead tones
• Bridge: 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with block saddles — smooth vibrato action with reduced friction

Who Should Pick Up This Olympic White Stratocaster

This Olympic White Stratocaster is the right choice for new players wanting a genuine Stratocaster experience without a professional-grade price tag. Music teachers will appreciate the familiar Fender layout and slim C neck. Experienced guitarists can use the mod-friendly platform — the pickguard routing matches American-spec dimensions, so loaded pickguards with upgraded pickups swap in without modification.
